IFFV at the Metropolitan Opera

January 2025 marked IFFV’s first visit to the Metropolitan Opera. A group of 40 attended Verdi’s Aida at the MET after first enjoying a delicious brunch at Salumeria Rosi and an engaging lecture from Francesco Izzo, current editor of the critical editions of Verdi’s works published by the University of Chicago Press. 

We have plans to make this an annual event and are already working towards another event in January 2026 – stay tuned.
